ARBITRAGE REBATE FUND OR ACCOUNT

A fund typically established under the bond contract for tax-exempt or other federally tax-advantaged bonds in which arbitrage earnings from investments in various funds and accounts holding bond proceeds are accumulated in order to make arbitrage rebate payments to the federal government under the Internal Revenue Code.
