MSRB NOTICE 2006-08 (APRIL 19, 2006)

MSRB AND TBMA TO HOLD COMPLIANCE SEMINAR ON JUNE 14, 2006 IN CHICAGO, IL

The Municipal Securities Rulemaking Board and The Bond Market Association will jointly sponsor a compliance seminar on Wednesday, June 14, 2006, in Chicago, IL.  The MSRB legal staff will discuss current regulatory issues affecting the broker-dealer community in the municipal marketplace.

The event will be held at the Mid-America Club. The two-hour seminar will begin at 3:00 p.m. and will be followed by a reception. These events are open to issuers, dealers, investors and other members of the municipal market. There is no charge for attending; however, pre-registration is required.
