The MSRB is publishing message specifications, entitled “Specifications for Real-time Reporting of Municipal Securities Transactions.” This technical document, along with the Operational Overview published in April, form the operational plan for real-time transaction reporting. Taken together, they provide the information necessary for dealers to program their trade processing systems for automated real-time trade reporting.
