SEC Approves Establishment of Optional System for Electronic Submission of Forms G-37/G-38 and G-37x

            On April 23, 2003, the Securities and Exchange Commission approved the MSRB’s proposed rule change providing for the establishment of an optional system for electronic submission of Forms G-37/G-38 and G-37x.[1]  The MSRB expects that the new electronic submission system will become operational on June 30, 2003.  Prior to the operational date, the MSRB will publish instructions to be used for submitting forms through the system.  More information about the system can be found at this link: http://ww1.msrb.org/msrb1/archive/g37esubmission.htm.
