Municipal Securities Rulemaking Board will be hosting a pair of forums focusing
on disclosure issues in the hospital finance sector of the municipal securities
market. These forums are designed to foster an open discussion of all aspects
of disclosure in this sector, from existing and proposed market-driven
standards for disclosure (including the National Federation of Municipal
Analysts’ draft “Recommended Best
Practices in Disclosure for Hospital Transactions”) to regulatory standards
embodied under federal securities laws (including Exchange Act Rule 15c2-12). Participants also will discuss the
latest developments on the dissemination front, including the impact of
technology in delivering disclosure to recipients. The forums will bring
