MSRB Announces Gateway Registration and Account Management Webinars

The Municipal Securities Rulemaking Board (MSRB) will host four webinars designed to assist municipal securities dealers, municipal advisors, issuers and their agents with using MSRB Gateway, the secure access point for all MSRB applications. These applications include the submission of trade data, primary market and continuing disclosure data and documents to the MSRB’s Electronic Municipal Market Access (EMMA) system.

Two webinars covering MSRB Gateway registration will take place on January 11 and January 13, 2011. Two webinars covering MSRB Gateway account management in compliance with MSRB Rule G-40 will take place on January 13 and January 20, 2011. Additional webinar information may be found below.

There is no charge to attend MSRB webinars; however, pre-registration is required. Pre-registration can be completed by following the links below. Each session will last approximately one hour. Information about upcoming webinars and outreach seminars is also posted on www.msrb.org under events and training.

Sessions

MSRB Gateway Registration:

Who should attend: Municipal securities dealers, municipal advisors and issuers that access MSRB applications through MSRB Gateway. These sessions will provide instruction on how to create a new registration in Gateway, adding an organization type to an existing registration, and amending a pending registration. Issuers will receive training on how to manage their registrations and how to create a Gateway account via the invitation process.

MSRB Gateway Account Management:

Who should attend: Municipal securities dealers, municipal advisors and issuers that use MSRB Gateway. These sessions will cover Gateway account management, including MSRB Rule G-40 account management and user account management.
