Vivian Altman is a member of the Board of Directors of the Municipal Securities Rulemaking Board (MSRB) and serves on the Audit and Risk Committee and the Governance Committee. She is Managing Director and Head of Northeast Banking at Huntington Capital Markets.  

Prior to her current role, Vivian spent 16 years at Janney Montgomery Scott where she was Head of Public Finance. Vivian has worked as an investment banker in the public finance industry for more than 40 years. She has had a managing role in structuring and financing an extensive range of issues nationwide, across several sectors of the market, as both a municipal advisor and an underwriter. 

In 2024, Vivian was recognized as a Trailblazing Woman in Public Finance, receiving the Private Sector Freda Johnson Award. She holds a bachelor's degree in economics from Barnard College and a master's degree in economics from the University of Pennsylvania.

Vivian's term with the MSRB Board expires September 30, 2029.
